Book not included for sale (my own copy). British War medal named (931181 Pte H.N. Wilson, C.O.R.C.C.). Listed in “The Black Battalion 1916-1920 Canada’s Best Kept Military Secret) as Harry Nathaniel Wilson, Shelburne, Nova Scotia. Nicely toned with original silk ribbon EF.
Formed on July 5, 1916, the No. 2 Construction Battalion was comprised of 605 men They were mostly black men who had previously been denied enlistment into Canada’s military. The men were from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, the Prairies, the United States and the Caribbean.
