Memorial Death Plaque (Herman Holler). With copied attestation records and CWGC certificate. Herman Holler was born 18th February, 1889 at Hanover, Ontario. He enlisted with the 2nd Bn, 2nd COR and arrived in England 4-8-18. He was Killed-in-Action while serving with the 78th Battalion.
While advancing with his Company on the morning of 29th September 1918, during the latter part of the Bourlon Wood Operations, he was instantly killed by an enemy bullet that struck him in the head.
