British War Medal to Capt N.E. MacDougall. For service with the Canadian Army Medical Corps. Neil Edward MacDougall was born 22nd March, 1886 in Tiverton, Bruce Coy, Ontario. He was living at 709 Dunemuir, Vancouver, British Columbia. MacDougall was a Physician and Surgeon when he enlisted with the C.A.M.C. at Victoria on December 26th, 1917. He was discharged as medically unfit. Whilst in Gallipoli he was knocked down by a shell explosion, resulting in a hospital visit for which he never fully recovered. Medal toned with original silk ribbon, near very fine.
