British War Medal 1914-20 to 641 Cpl. F. F. Jackson, C.A.S.C. Corporal Frederick George Jackson, 2 Divisional Supply Column, C.A.S.C. An original member of Eaton Machine Gun Battery. With copied service papers revealing that he was a chauffeur and mechanic residing at 33 Frizzell Ave Toronto. He was born in Toronto 4 February 1885 enlisting in WWI February 12, 1915. On July 28, 1915 he was treated at Monk Horton Canadian Convalescent Hospital for an injury to his spine caused by accidentally sitting on a tent peg. After a series of illnesses and setbacks he was sent back to Canada 10 November, 1918 discharged in Quebec. Jackson died 13 March, 1942.
