British War medal (Lieut E.H. Murphy). With copied service files. Edgar Herman Murphy was born at Fitzroy, Ontario on Dec 24, 1874. He enlisted with the 12st Battalion while living in Vancouver. He served with the 29th Canadian Infantry and was reported wounded at Cambrai 27-9-1918. He suffered a gun shot wound to the right knee April 3, 1917 and then again on Sept 27, 1918 (to the right leg). A teacher from Vancouver, Murphy returned to BC and died in 1935. Very fine.
