A Great War Pair, Plaque and Memorial Cross to A.Sjt. A. Inglis, 42-Can Inf (Royal Highlanders of Canada) Killed-in-Action Aug 8, 1918


British War and Victory medals (3010013 A.Sjt. A. Inglis, 42-Can Inf); Memorial Plaque (Archie Inglis); Memorial Cross (Geo V) engraved “3010013 Pte A. Inglis”.  With a nice collection of original photographs of Inglis in uniform.  Archie Inglis was born in London, England 14 October, 1891.  He listed previous service with the London Scottish prior to enlisting with the 42nd Infantry Battalion at Montreal.  He died 8 August, 1918, at the age of 26, being Killed-in-Action.  He is buried in the Hangard Communal Cemetery, Somme, France.  All items very fine or better.
