M.M. London Gazette 14 March 1918.  Copied attestation paper.  Ian McFadyen was born in Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 12th, 1887. He was a Policeman and had served 4 years with the Queen’s Rifle Brigade before joining the Canadian Garrison Artillery on March 9, 1916.
