Distinguished Flying Medal (George VI- IND IMP) named to "580453 SGT. T.C. DAVIES, R.A.F." From Fredericton, New Brunswick! Only 556 DFM's ever awarded to Canadians. London Gazette 25th June, 1940 Jointly with Pilot Officer D.A.C. Crooks (DFC) and Leading Aircraftman William Reginald John Green. Davies retrained as pilot following the award of his DFM and was KILLED-IN-ACTION on 4th July1941 with 226 Sqn - they flew Blenheims. He is buried in Sage War Cemetery in Germany.
