Happy Summer Everyone! We are suffering through a massive heat wave here in Ottawa with temperatures above 40 degrees celcius. It is an ideal time to sit in an air-conditioned office and add medals to the website. More collections have arrived and I hope to post many of the medals in the next week. After suffering with the flu for the last three weeks, I am finally back in the office and have begun the task of adding several new medal collections to the website. It has been an incredibly busy spring with numerous military shows and some extensive traveling. The shows have been very successful and I have acquired many new medals which I intend to add to the website this week. In addition, I have three more collections on their way to me so look for extensive website updates in the coming weeks. Thank you for the ongoing notes of encouragement. As we approach the second-year-anniversary (June 10th) of Eugene's death, I remain grateful for the opportunity and legacy he left to me. It is my sincere hope that I continue to make him proud. Happy New Year to all! Welcome to 2010. We have many exciting new things planned for 2010. I have just purchased a nice little collection of medals which I hope to post to the site in coming weeks. I will be in attendance at the March Etobicoke show and have registered to attend this year's MCC show in Calgary on the Easter Weekend. I look forward to seeing long-time friends. The summer has been busy with lots of shows, auctions and organizing
back at the office. We are settling down for the winter and look
forward to adding a huge volume of new material to the website. To
that end, we have re-designed portions of the website and will
relaunch with a newer, more modern look in the next short while.
Today you will find some new additions to the "whats new" and
"Coronation/Jubilee" sections. More medals are being added all the
time. As always, we encourage your email or phone call if you are
looking for something that you are unable to find listed on these pages.

Thank you for checking in. Business is progressing well and there are all new updates to the website now, with more to come in the next week. We apologize for the delay in updating the site but our website programmer was off on a short maternity leave. Congratulations Roxie!
I would like to welcome Christina Snowdon to our office team. She joined us in December and her professionalism and work-ethic are much appreciated. Christina is looking forward to speaking with many of you in the near future.
It has been nine months since Eugene passed away and I think he would be very proud of the path the business has taken. Our successes are a tribute to the business he established over 30 years ago and the respect in which he was held by so many esteemed colleagues and collectors.
I will be present at the following upcoming 2009 shows and look forward to meeting up with old friends.

I am pleased to report that the "2009 Medal Yearbook" has arrived. I have already sold half of the order shipment, so don't delay if you are looking to pick up a copy. Inventory continues to be sorted and organized here and I have been regularly adding new material to the website. I invite your phone call or email if there is something specific you are looking for. I may just have it but have not had the opportunity to add it to our website. Look for many more new additions in the coming winter months as shows slow down and colder temperatures see me working in the office longer hours.

I wish to thank so many loyal customers for their continuing support. The Vancouver MCC show was a success and I now turn my attention to the Etobicoke Show and London OMRS.

I wish to thank you all for the compassion you have shown since Eugene’s passing on June 10th. Michael and Kathleen (Eugene’s children) and I could not have made it through this difficult time without the support of so many friends and colleagues. Eugene was an amazing man and a light in this hobby sky has dimmed. He will be remembered by his many friends and colleagues as a true gentleman and a respected historian. Eugene is no longer in pain, may he rest in peace….
As was Eugene’s wish, I shall continue the business with the same level of commitment and hard work consistent with my last 18 years here. No one will ever replace Eugene’s knowledge and experience but I promise to carry on with the same integrity and professionalism you have all come to expect and deserve. I think a colleague from California said it best when he wrote …I’m glad you’re at the helm of a wonderful organization. Eugene would have had it no other way….
